About the Chamber
The Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce is the largest business organization in northern Santa Barbara County. Its members include small businesses, corporations, associations, and individual professionals. Since its inception in 1902, the Chamber has worked diligently to better the area’s business climate, forge a stronger community, and improve the quality of life. The Chamber works with local government, education, private industry and a host of other partners to improve the business environment and promote Santa Maria as a premier community in which to vacation, live, work, and do business.
The Chamber organizes and directs the efforts of those who share the desire to improve the conditions under which business is conducted. Through participation in the Chamber, members are able to accomplish collectively what they could not do individually.
Businesses that join the Chamber receive a multitude of benefits and advantages ranging from networking, marketing and advertising opportunities, to legislative advocacy, educational forums to benefit business, and economic opportunities.
Through its Visitor & Convention Bureau and Economic Development Commission programs, the Chamber of Commerce plays a leading role in promoting tourism, attracting new businesses, and assisting existing businesses to grow and succeed.
Investment in the Chamber is an investment in your business – and in the prosperity of the Santa Maria Valley!
