DESCRIPTION:Featuring: Virtual Auction+ Daily Raffle Drawings for a Yosemite Vacation Package and Fun Prizes+ \n\n\n\nThe Rotary Club of Santa Maria\, Santa Maria's oldest Rotary Club (99 years young!) is rising to the occasion of the crisis in our world with a fundraiser within a fundraiser\, November 1-7th.\n\n\n\nThis year Noon Rotary's annual fundraiser will look and act totally different from past in person events.\n\n\n\nFirstly\, they have selected only 5 non-profits to share in all the event net proceeds. Each charity was nominated for the outstanding work they are doing during the pandemic. \n\n\n\nThey are: C.A.S.A. (Court Appointed Special Advocates) ( for foster youth)\, ECHO (housing homeless veterans)\, Santa Maria Valley Open Space (creating and maintaining trails to promote healthy living)\, Casa of Hope (a "safe house" purchased to shelter women escaping sex trafficking) and Santa Maria Y.M.C.A. (creating almost immediate partnerships to provide child care for essential healthcare workers).\n\n\n\nNow how to make each day meaningful for bidders! The Rotarians have created excitement around the "Virtual" Auction by enlisting their beneficiaries to create Live Zoom Happy Hours each day from November 2nd to the 6th 5-6 P.M. Each different Live Zoom will feature loads of free prizes\, great information and fun games around their themes.\n\n\n\nThe themes are: November 2nd Dia de los Muertos\, November 3rd Patriots Day\, November 4th Faith\, Hope and Love!\, November 5th Fun with the "Y" and November 6th Enjoy the Outdoors . \n\n\n\nOnly registered bidders will be invited to the Zoom Happy Hours for the free prizes.\n\n\n\nNext\, Noon Rotary added one more daily site visit incentive.\n\n\n\nThe Golden Ticket Daily Raffle. Daily $5 tickets must be purchased in order to offer the best chance to be one of only 15 tickets in the final day bucket to win a fantastic Yosemite Vacation Package. The Second Chance Bucket will offer over 12 fun consolation prizes. Raffle details are on Noon Rotary website.\n\n\n\nFinally Noon Rotary has chosen their annual honoree for the prestigious "Don Melby\, Ethics in Business Award" to be honored with fanfare on the Event Celebration/Closing Live Zoom Saturday November 7th 5-6 P.M.
