  • Community Invited to Fall 2022 Junior CEO Business Launch

The Santa Maria Valley Chamber invites you to support our community’s youngest CEOs at the Junior CEO Business Launch at the Santa Maria Town Center Mall on Saturday, November 19th from 11am to 3pm.

Junior CEO is a Chamber program brought to you by our presenting sponsors: California Strawberry Commission and Community Bank. The program was developed by the Visalia Chamber of Commerce and has been licensed to the Santa Maria Valley Chamber to administer the program locally.

“Community Bank of Santa Maria is proud to sponsor this event as it contributes to the future of Santa Maria by providing education and inspiration to our future small business owners. By supporting this program, and by coming out and participating in launch day, we are demonstrating our community support for these kids who are the Santa Maria Valley’s future business leaders,” said Janet Silveria, Community Bank of Santa Maria President & CEO.

“California Strawberry farmers are proud to support the Junior CEO program. Farmers recognize the importance of supporting our children, who are the future leaders in our country.  We are excited to see how the Junior CEO’s grow their business experience in this program," said Jeff Cardinale, California Strawberry Commission Director of Communications.

Each Junior CEO cohort attends five virtual workshops that prepare them to launch their business. Educational sessions included topics such as: business fundamentals, marketing, customer service, money management, and safe food handling procedures.

Thank you to Toyota of Santa Maria, our guest speakers, and session sponsors: Coast Hills Bank, L & G Farming, Marian Medical Center, CalPortland, Santa Maria Town Center, and Your People Professionals
