DISCOVER SANTA MARIA VALLEY FARM TO TABLE DINNER & AUCTION COMING SOON!

Santa Maria, Calif. – August 8, 2019 – The Santa Maria Valley Discovery Museum, is excited to announce it will be holding its second annual Discover Santa Maria Valley Farm to Table Dinner & Auction on Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 4-7 PM. This year the adult-only event will be held at a local ranching family’s private event barn in Arroyo Grande, and feature a family-style supper of fresh, gourmet offerings by Field to Table Catering. Tickets are $125 each and funds raised help to support the only children’s museum in Santa Barbara County and our upcoming 1,200-square-foot Farm to Table Agriculture Exhibit. Sponsorships are still available.

“The board and staff are thrilled to host this event in support of our upcoming Farm to Table Agriculture Exhibit. This highly interactive exhibit will tell the story of one of our valley’s most important industries in a fun and engaging way. Children will learn about the process of how our food travels from the farm to the table, and how local farmers and ranchers harness technology to feed people all over the world” said Nancy Gastelum, Executive Director of the museum.

With chef inspired cuisine from Tracey Labistida, a new venue, and unique auction items, including a beautiful vacation home stay near Lake Arenal in Costa Rica, and another at The Ranches at Belt Creek near Showdown Ski Resort outside of Great Falls, Montana, the evening is shaping up to be a great event. There are even one or two extra surprises to add to the fun!
