    Free Docent-Led Nature Hike at Los Flores Ranch Park


    The City of Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department invites the community to enjoy a free docent-led nature hike on Saturday, February 13th at Los Flores Ranch Park, 6271 Dominion Road in the outskirts of Santa Maria. The hike starts promptly at 9:00 a.m. and lasts approximately 90 minutes in length. Please meet at the Visitor Center.

    Participants will see the beauty of Los Flores Ranch and learn about the oak trees and other plant life, as well as birds and the many other species of animals that call Los Flores Ranch Park home. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring binoculars. Although Los Flores Ranch Park has a variety of trails for all skill levels, the nature hike will be utilizing the family friendly and moderate trails. Registration is required and space is limited.     Those in attendance will be asked to adhere to safety measures during the activity, including the use of face coverings, hand sanitizer, provide own drinking water and maintain social distance of a minimum of six feet from other group members.
