Lunar New Year Packs at the Library

Celebrate the Lunar New Year with a fun craft pack designed to teach Lunar New Year traditions from around the world. Packs will include most supplies needed to create two crafts. This program is open to children ages 4-12 and will be available at all Santa Maria Public Library locations.

Register to pick up from the main Library beginning Saturday, February 6th, by visiting the Library’s online events calendar at www.cityofsantamaria.org/Library or by calling (805) 925-0994.  Packs may be picked up during sidewalk pick-up service, February 6th through February 13th. The main Library is located at 421 South McClelland Street.

For branch Libraries, no registration is needed to pick up a Lunar New Year Pack. Packs may be picked up beginning February 6th, at locations in Cuyama, Guadalupe, Orcutt, Los Alamos and the SMPL to Go Bookmobile during grab and go hours.  There is a limit of one pack per child, while supplies last.
