  • MEDIA OPPORTUNITY: The Patch Donates Proceeds From 2021 ''Pink Weekend'' to Mission Hope Cancer Center

    The Patch Santa Maria will host a dinner and ceremony to award proceeds from 2021 season
     
    SANTA MARIA, CA – November 12, 2021 – Mission Hope Cancer Center is an award recipient from The Patch ‒ Santa Maria‘s 2021 season. The Patch ‒ Santa Maria, led by the City of Santa Maria Recreation Parks and Parks Department, hosted its “Pink Weekend” during October 8 – 10, 2021. During the “Pink Weekend” event, The Patch sold pink-painted pumpkins, specialty pink branded apparel and accessories.
     
    WHO: Members of the media are invited to attend the special ceremony.
     
    WHAT: The Patch – Santa Maria will award $1,200 in proceeds from their “Pink Weekend” event to Mission Hope Cancer Center.  
     
    WHERE: The event will be held at Veterans' Memorial Center, 313 W Tunnell St, Santa Maria, CA 93458.
     
    WHEN: Sunday, November 14, 2021, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
     
    WHY: In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The Patch – Santa Maria hosted a special “Pink Weekend” to raise money for local cancer patients. The Patch sold pink-painted pumpkins, specialty pink branded apparel and accessories.
