    New Library Sidewalk Service Hours 


    Beginning Saturday, August 1st, the City of Santa Maria Public Library and branch locations will have new hours for no-contact sidewalk pickup service. 

    Patrons may place holds on Library materials through the Black Gold Library catalog. Instructions for placing holds may be found on the Library’s website, www.cityofsantamaria.org/Library,  and the Black Gold catalog or by calling the Library. At this time, patrons may only place holds on items owned by Santa Maria, Orcutt, Guadalupe, Los Alamos, and Cuyama libraries and select the preferred pick-up location. 

    Library materials placed on hold will be available for pickup on the following days and times:

    Santa Maria Main, 421 South McClelland Street:
    Mondays through Fridays, 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
    Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

    Orcutt Branch, 175 South Broadway: 
    Mondays through Fridays, 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. 

    Guadalupe Branch, 4719 West Main Street, Suite D:
    Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.

    Los Alamos Branch, 405 Helena Street:
    Wednesdays and Fridays, 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.

    Cuyama Branch, 4689 Highway 166: 
    Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.  

    Everyone arriving to pick up materials needs to do so while wearing a face covering. The libraries remain closed due to the coronavirus outbreak. For help placing a hold or for more information, please call the Library Circulation desk at (805) 925-0994 extension 8563.
