    The City of Santa Maria Public Library is pleased to announce the next Valley Reads Book Club meeting. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 5th, at 2:00 p.m. in Shepard Hall. The Library is located on 421 South McClelland Street.

    The book club will discuss The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. The story follows journalist Monique Grant and her tell-all interview with the 79-year-old Classical Hollywood star, Evelyn Hugo. This novel explores the themes of fame, the role of women in Hollywood, and LGBTQIA+ relationships.
