    “Reading the Rainbow” AAUW Presentation

    A free presentation in recognition of National Coming Out Day 2021 (October 11th) will be hosted by the City of Santa Maria Public Library and the Santa Maria Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW).
    This program will be held on Saturday, October 9th at the Santa Maria Public Library in Shepard Hall, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Seating is limited, and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Patrons are encouraged to arrive early to secure their seats.
    The event will feature a panel of speakers from GALA (Gay and Lesbian Alliance) Pride & Diversity Center, HOPE (House of Pride & Equality), and the Central Coast Coalition of Inclusive Schools. They will discuss how to affirm sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression.
