  • Santa Maria Valley YMCA Announce New Chief Operating Officer

The Santa Maria Valley YMCA is proud to announce the promotion of Krista Delia to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) management position. Krista will work side by side with the CEO to take this Y to its fullest potential. Her experience, formal education and ability to grasp the big picture make her uniquely qualified to manage and expand the Y’s programs.

Since Krista’s career began here in 2004, she has rocketed from her first management experience taking a Y all-star cheerleading team all the way to Nationals to her current completion of her extensive Y trainings and Leadership Development work. Krista’s volunteer work with Noontime Kiwanis has captured both her sense of service and sense of humor. Signature Y programs, such as RiseUP, will continue their successful development of youth while adding more programs such as Project Promise in the Guadalupe School District, the Y internship program that gets your teens ready for the work force, and swim lessons to the Olga Reed students in Los Alamos. The Y will expand service and outreach to those who need them and Ms. Delia will increase collaborative opportunities to make endless possibilities a reality for the youth in our community.

Krista and her husband of 12 years, Paul Delia, have 2 children, Ella and Jett. These two littles are completely engaged in the Y, both under that age of 5, and training up for future leadership already!

Please welcome Krista Delia as the COO of the Santa Maria Valley YMCA.
