• SBCAG: U.S. 101 Santa Maria to Santa Margarita Multi-Modal Corridor Plan (101 MCP) Survey

Caltrans District 5 is asking for participation in a survey related to a U.S. 101 Santa Maria to Santa Margarita Multimodal Corridor Plan – specifically seeking input on ideas and concerns about mobility along, across, and adjacent to U.S. 101, including driving, bicycling, walking, and using public transportation.

The U.S. 101 Santa Maria to San Luis Obispo Multimodal Corridor Plan is a collaboration between Caltrans District 5, San Luis Obispo Council of Governments (SLOCOG), and SBCAG. The 101 MCP will analyze U.S. 101, State Route 227, and the local road networks between Santa Maria and Santa Margarita to discover ways to relieve congestion and improve mobility. The plan seeks to make the existing transportation system more efficient, improve multimodal travel opportunities, and enhance safety. A key goal of this process is to create more opportunities for collaboration with partners, stakeholders, and the public.
