    Sidewalk Service Coming to the City of Santa Maria Public Library and Branches

    The City of Santa of Maria Public Library is pleased to announce no-contact sidewalk pickup services beginning Monday, June 29th at the main Library and branches.  Everyone arriving to pick up materials needs to do so while wearing a face covering. The libraries remain closed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

    Patrons may place holds on Library materials through the Black Gold Library catalog beginning Monday, June 29th. Instructions for placing holds may be found on the Library’s website, www.cityofsantamaria.org/Library and the Black Gold catalog or by calling the Library. At this time, patrons may only place holds on items owned by Santa Maria, Orcutt, Guadalupe, Los Alamos, and Cuyama libraries and select the preferred pick-up location. 

    Library materials placed on hold will be available for pickup on the following days and times:

    Santa Maria Main, 421 South McClelland Street:
    Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

    Orcutt Branch, 175 South Broadway: 
    Mondays, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Thursdays, 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.

    Guadalupe Branch, 4719 West Main Street, Suite D:
    Tuesdays, 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.

    Los Alamos Branch, 405 Helena Street:
    Wednesdays, 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.

    Cuyama Branch, 4689 Highway 166: 
    Mondays, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Wednesdays and Fridays, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
