    Spring Gardening Kits 

    The City of Santa Maria Public Library is pleased to continue the Spring Gardening Kit program. The Library will have a limited number of the Gardening Kits available for patrons to enjoy at home. Each kit contains six peat pots, soil, plant markers, and seed packets. This program is open to adults 18 and older.

    The Gardening Kits will be available at the Main Library from Monday, April 12th through Saturday, April 17th. Registration is required and begins on Monday, April 5th. Patrons may register on the Events Calendar at www.cityofsantamaria.org/Library or by calling the Public Library at (805) 925-0994. Please limit one kit per household.

    Gardening Kits will also be available at the Orcutt Branch Library from Monday, April 12th through Saturday, April 17th and at the Los Alamos Branch Library from Monday, April 12th through Friday, April 16th. The Spring Gardening Kits at the Orcutt Branch Library and Los Alamos Branch Library are available on a first come, first served basis.

    The Santa Maria Public Library’s main Library, branch Libraries and Bookmobile are open for Grab and Go service in accordance with the local health emergency declared by the County.  Passport services are available by appointment at the main Library. The Library also offers 24/7 digital resources including downloadable eBooks, movies, magazines, and audiobooks. Online databases and programs, email reference service, veterans’ resources, updates about the Library’s operations and more are available online at www.cityofsantamaria.org/Library. Patrons may also apply for a free Library card online.
