Freedom Monument Veterans Memorial: 21 Years of Honoring the Santa Maria Valley’s Fallen and All Veterans
 
Twenty-one years ago, the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce and the City of Santa Maria made a historic commitment to recognize and honor the Santa Maria Valley veterans who gave their lives during times of conflict, and to recognize the commitment of all veterans who have served. During this time, the development of the monument area has required research, inclusion, monetary support, maintenance, and commitment, all of which has been provided in abundance and without question by the City of Santa Maria, the Chamber of Commerce, Veteran Groups, non-profit agencies, businesses, and the community at large.

Please join us on Wednesday, December 7^th, 2022, at 10:00 am for a special ceremony honoring the 21-year anniversary of the Freedom Monument Veterans Memorial, and to honor the fallen as well as all veterans. The Freedom Monument is located at 600 S. McClelland in front of the Abel Maldonado Community Youth Center in Santa Maria.
