The virtual mixer will begin on Sept. 10 at 11:15 a.m. with a presentation from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

• Benefits of obtaining your small business certification.
• Learn how to become a certified Small Business (SB), Micro Business (MB), Small Business for the Purpose of Public Works (SB-PW), or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE).
• Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) eligibility and certification process.
Facilitated by Jessica Biro and Ann Danko, Small Business Liaisons for the California Department of Transportation, District 5. Caltrans District 5 serves the counties of Santa Cruz, San Benito, Monterey, San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara.
