Free Holiday Makerspace at the Santa Maria Public Library

Put that creativity to good use by joining the City of Santa Maria Public Library and Allan Hancock College for the second annual Holiday Makerspace, on Saturday, December 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 pm. in the Library’s Learning Center.

Participants will have an opportunity to make and explore projects using technology or crafts.  Create, experiment, learn, and connect with others while making holiday creations to give as gifts, or for yourself.  Makerspace is open to all ages.

This program is generously sponsored by a grant from the California Community College Chancellor’s Office in partnership with Allan Hancock College and the Santa Maria Valley Discovery Museum.

The Library’s hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The Library is closed on Sunday. The Santa Maria Public Library is located at 421 South McClelland Street.

Questions may be directed to the Library’s Reference Services, located on the second floor of the Library or by calling (805) 925-0994 extension 8562.
