• Santa Barbara Informational Session

Santa Maria, CA - May  2021 - An event will be held via Zoom on June 3rd, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. This informational session is open to anyone in the community who wishes to learn about the volunteer programs of a local non-profit, Community Partners in Caring.
Our seniors are homebound without much access to the outside world -- most of the human connection they experience is through our volunteers. Community Partners in Caring offers services to seniors that help to bridge the gap between the outside community and their homes.
Community Partners in Caring continues to serve the elderly community throughout Santa Barbara County. Seniors 62+ are presented with access to basic needs, such as free food drop-offs from the Food Bank, grocery delivery, prescription delivery, reassurance phone calls, free rides to vaccination sites and/or rides to appointments, and most importantly, human connection. There are countless opportunities for community members to get involved through our program to help homebound seniors.
At the event, attendees will meet other community members while learning about our program, the support volunteers receive, and the impact they can have in a senior’s life. Anyone is welcome to join this free event and everyone is encouraged to invite friends and family as well.
