Santa Maria Public Library Releases Hours Survey

The City of Santa Maria Public Library has released a survey to better understand the needs of the public. The survey will be used to evaluate the current open hours of the five library branches in Northern Santa Barbara County.

Mary Housel, City Librarian says, “This survey was created because we are interested in understanding the unique needs of each one of the communities the Santa Maria Public Library System serves. We want to hear from as many people in the community as possible, whether you visit the library regularly or you haven’t been in a while.”

The City of Santa Maria Public Library System is made up of 5 locations: Santa Maria (main), Los Alamos, Cuyama, Guadalupe, and Orcutt.

The survey is offered in Spanish and English and is available online and on paper in each of the branches. Responses will be collected until Tuesday, January 15, 2019.

The electronic version of the survey is available on the library website and here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SMPLhours2018

Questions may be directed to the Santa Maria Public Library, (805) 925-0994 ext. 2833.
