• Support Your Local Restaurants through #TakeoutTuesday Campaign!

The Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce is recommending all (healthy/low risk) residents show their love and support for local restaurants by joining the “Takeout Tuesday” campaign. Every Tuesday, the Chamber is encouraging the community to place orders for delivery and takeout, and then share their community support on social media with #TakeoutTueday.

This campaign is a regional effort to help support our local business community - many of the Central Coast Coalition of Chambers members, which represents Chambers of Commerce from SLO County and Northern Santa Barbara County, are also participating.

Local businesses need our support now more than ever to endure the challenges that are widely affecting the business community. Continuing to support our local restaurants by ordering takeout or delivery is just one way we can help drive more revenue for these businesses. If you are unable or do not want to place an order for takeout or delivery, we encourage you to purchase a gift card to use at a later date.

When you place your takeout and delivery orders, please take #TakeoutTuesday and #SMVOpenForBusiness so we can share your posts on the Chamber's social media channels. If you are a local restaurant offering takeout or delivery, please tag #TakeoutTuesday and #SMVOpenForBusiness in posts promoting your menu options, hours, or specials you may be offering, so we can share that content as well.
